A global company is set to call Sioux Falls home. Glanbia Nutritionals, based in Ireland, is a nutritional solutions and cheese group.
Glanbia is constructing a 40,000 square foot cereal ingredient processing facility at 4401 West 62nd Street North.
Operations are set to begin this July and it will initially employ 40 people.
"We're delighted to be here. We assessed a lot of locations and we found Sioux Falls to be a great location for us. Not only for our business, but we found the people here in the development party we're excellent to deal with and really encouraged us to come here," said Glanbia CEO Jerry O'Dea.
Glanbia operates in fourteen countries and employs more than 4,500 people. In Gaelic, Glanbia means "pure food".
