Eli Young Band to Perform at State Fair

KSFY News has the scoop on the concert line-up for the upcoming South Dakota State Fair. The State Fair Manager Jerome Hertel stopped by the KSFY Morning News to announce that the Eli Young Band will be performing Saturday, August 31st. The band has been together since 2002 and were recently nominated for a Grammy for Best Country Duo or Group. Opening for the Eli Young Band will be the Casey Donahew Band. Pre-Ticket sales for the concert start on June 17th for backrest holders. Friends of the Fair can then purchase tickets on June 20th followed by the general public on June 24th. Ticket prices are not set yet. The 2012 State Fair will run from Thursday, August 29th through Monday, September 1st. This year's theme is "Starry Nights and Midway Lights". Hertel will be back next week to announce who else will be coming to the State Fair, exclusively on the KSFY Morning News.
