Notice to remove snow and Ice from sidewalks

Citizens will have until 2 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, to have snow and ice removed from their sidewalks.

This is an extended deadline due to the unique nature of the recent ice/snowstorm, combined with the warm temperatures expected today and tomorrow.

The City of Sioux Falls apologizes for any confusion caused by conflicting information in recently issued news releases regarding sidewalk snow removal.

The City of Sioux Falls Public Parking Division will begin taking complaints beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 367-8171

According to the National Weather Service Sioux Falls office, snow accumulation stopped at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013.
