Does It Work? We try the Turbie Twist

Posted: Updated:

This Wednesday Nancy Naeve Brown tries out the Turbie Twist. One of those "As Seen on TV" products.  They advertise that it's a super-absorbent hair towel with new and improved microfiber. They claim it stays in place, features a unique tapered design, allows for a perfect fit on all head sixes. It's supposed to be more absorbent than cotton which means less blow drying.  They also claim it will stay in place and won't hurt your neck.

Nancy has heard from a lot of people who said it does work. Their kids like it too, but I wanted to test it on a tough customer our producer Erin Heinert. She has A LOT of very long, very thick and very curly hair. Live on the KSFY Morning Show she challenged it and it worked as far as being soft and comfortable and staying put even on her big haired head. But it did not dry her hair as we expected. She has too much hair for that.

Overall, we say it does work and is worth the ten bucks. You get 2 for ten and I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond.
