1. Olympic 'Blade Runner' charged with murder after girlfriend shot dead

Oscar Pistorius, the Olympic and Paralympics athlete known as the "blade runner," was charged with murder in South Africa today after his girlfriend was shot and killed at his home.

2. The couple Chris Dorner took hostage is speaking out

The married couple that Chris Dorner took hostage held a press conference Wednesday night, saying they walked into the unit and realized it was the reported fugitive ex-cop holed up inside. They say all the Dorner said he wanted from them was their car.

3. Sioux Falls looks at replacing two bridges for maintenance and safety issues

The city says it's a high priority to replace the Eighth Street bridge. We spoke with the principal engineer for the city who says they've taken a look at it and because of its age, it might be time for it to go.

4. American Airlines and US Airways to merge

American Airlines and US Airways will merge to create the biggest airline in the world. The boards from both companies approved the merger on Wednesday. The carrier will keep the American Airlines name.

5. Baby spinach recalled in E. coli scare

A California company is recalling packages of baby spinach that could be contaminated with E. coli. The labels subject to voluntary recall are under five different labels in 36 states. Taylor Farms Retail says no illnesses have been reported.
