Near-Earth asteroid sails by without a problem

The world is safe from that asteroid that was forecast to come a little too-close-for-comfort to Earth.

A 150-foot cosmic rock hurtled safely past earth only hours ago.

Astronomers say it looked like a little speck in the night sky is the actual asteroid whizzing by earth.

It was the closest known flyby for a rock of its size, passing within 17,000 miles.

Astronomers say the meteor that landed in Russia and this event is purely coincidental.
