Outrage is growing over the man accused of slapping a toddler on an airplane and calling him derogatory names.

Now the man at the center of the case has been slapped with a pink slip.

That guy is 60-year-old Joe Hundley.

Idaho-based AGC Aerospace and Defense says he's no longer employed with the company.

Hundley was sitting next to a woman and her 19-month-old son on the Atlanta-bound flight from Minneapolis.

Hundley slapped the boy and use the foul language when the boy started crying during the plane's decent.
