Starting in Brookings and heading toward the north conditions are very windy and slick on the roads. We spent time traveling on I-29 North in the Brookings area Tuesday morning around 2:30a.m. White-out conditions were happening on the interstate from time to time. Winds were also very strong, causing snow to blow all over the place.
The Sioux Falls area isn't seeing as much blowing snow but there are still some slick and icy spots. Also keep in mind the entire region will have a very cold start to the day. Make sure you bundle up on the way out the door.
