Beadle County remembers former sheriff

Beadle County is mourning the loss of a long-time sheriff.

Memorial services will be held Saturday for Thomas Beerman.

The 65-year-old died last week at the Huron Regional Medical Center.

Beerman retired back in 2010.

Before becoming sheriff, Beerman served in the U-S Air Force, including two tours in Vietnam.
