We are testing "As Seen on TV" products live every Wednesday morning in February. On the docket this time Nancy Naeve Brown checks out the Salon Express; Nail Art Stamping Kit. Here's what the commercial promises:
<"Now you can decorate your nails like a pro with this nail art stamping kit. It's as simple and easy as 1-2-3. You will get professional salon results right at home. Your nails will always look sensational. Use it with any nail polish you have. It's great for manicures and pedicures. 1. Apply nail polish to desired image on Image Plate (it comes with 5 plates, each has 7 images on it) 2. Use the scraper to remove excess polish from Image Plate. 3. Press Stamper onto image to pick up the pattern. 4. Simply stamp image onto nail for professional salon results.">
My lovely assistant again is my friend and our Morning Show Producer Erin Heinert is helping me .We did Erin's right hand yesterday to see how it would hold up, because the one thing the commercial doesn't say is how long the art will look good on your nail. The problem is getting the ban on the nail perfectly. I couldn't do it. It is not as easy as they say it is. I would save your $10. It's doesn't work that great.
