Sunday night "Oscars" will have a South Dakota connection

     The red carpet is out...and the golden statues have arrived...
    
     The countdown is on to Oscar Sunday.

     It's the Academy's 85th annual awards night and the crowd favorites are expected to clean up this year.

     "Lincoln" leads the pack... with 12 Oscar nominations including "Best Picture"... and "Best Actor" for Daniel Day Lewis.
    
     But it's "Argo" that's been gaining momentum...and sweeping several major awards for the film and cast.
    
     The pressure is also on host -- Seth Macfarlane -- who's putting the final touches on his performance... and promising more than a few surprises.

     One film up for an Oscar this year features a South Dakota lawmaker.

     "The Invisible War", is a documentary about a topic rarely discussed... rape in the U-S military.

     Representative Stace Nelson from Fulton was interviewed extensively in the film.

     As a former Navy investigator, Nelson spent 20 years looking into military rape cases.

     It's not too late to join in on the Oscar fun...with every nominee right in the palm of your hand.

     ABC released a mobile app that people can use to keep track of the academy award winners.

     It even allows users to their pics for best film, actor or actress.
