The state will help two Northwest Iowa manufacturers expand their operations and add jobs.
The Sioux City Journal reports the state Economic Development Authority board on Friday awarded tax benefits to Polaris Industries, which plans a $3.6 million project in Milford that is expected to create 40 jobs.
Polaris has been building electric vehicles in Milford.
The Economic Development Authority board also awarded $100,000 in direct aid and tax benefits to American Natural Processors in Galva. The company, which processes oilseed and grain, plans a $2.4 million project expected to create 10 jobs.
