GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota school administrators are investigating a photo posted to Twitter from a state hockey semifinal game in which three fans in the student section are wearing Ku Klux Klan-style white robes and hoods.

Grand Forks Public Schools athletics director Mark Rerick says that he notified Red River High School administrators after confirming the Friday night incident with security at Ralph Englestad Arena.

Rerick said Saturday that to the best of his knowledge, the students have been identified.

The photo shows the three hooded fans in the middle of the Roughriders section, in which everyone is dressed in white for the "whiteout" tradition.

Red River beat Fargo Davies 2-0. The Fargo school is named after the federal judge whose 1957 rulings integrated a Little Rock, Ark., high school.
