Police investigate string of thefts at YMCA in Sioux Falls

Sioux Falls police have responded to a string of thefts at the YMCA in Sioux Falls along Minnesota Avenue.

The most recent incident was reported at 12:07pm on Saturday. Sam Clemens, Sioux Falls Police Spokesman, said someone stole an iPhone out of a locker. He said the locker was unlocked.

Clemens said over the past couple of months there have been up to a dozen reports of items stolen out of lockers at the YMCA. Clemens said in most instances cellphones are stolen, but there have been a few reports of stolen wallets.
