For nearly three decades Make-A-Wish South Dakota has been granting the wishes for terminally ill kids across the state.
And they aren't slowing down anytime soon.
The Make-A-Wish foundation is kicking off its wishes in flights campaign, where donations can be made in the form of flier miles.
The miles will be used to get the kids and their families to places all over the country for a little R&R.
Paul Krueger with Make-A-Wish says its programs like these that really express how important make a wish exists. "It's a lot for anyone to be sick a child facing a life threatEning situation they deserve a break. we're blesses to be around to grant a wish, and we're grateful to south Dakota to help make wishes come true."
The wishes in flight campaign kicks off Thursday on KSFY.
