The 46th annual Sioux Empire Sportsmen's Show will bring thousands to Sioux Falls this weekend.
This show includes over 200 exhibits ranging from boats and RVs to fishing and hunting equipment. There will also be booths geared toward planning a hunting or fishing vacation. Organizers say the best part about this show is that it is all under one roof at the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center. They this is a great event especially for outdoor enthusiasts.
This event also features free workshops and speakers. Twiggy, the Water Skiing Squirrel will be at the show with her trainer. Two cougar cubs and other animals will be featured at the Wolves-Woods & Wildlife attraction. Dave Csanda from Linder's Angling Edge will share tips on crappies, bluegills, and pike. Pro fisherman Ted Takasaki will be giving tips on Walleye. Also bowhunter Marlene Odahlen-Hinz will be sharing hunting tips.
The event kicked off on Thursday and runs through Sunday March 3rd. Friday the show will be open from Noon to 9:00pm. Saturday the show ill be open from 10:00am to 9:00pm. Sunday the show will be open from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Admission is $7.00 for adults, $2.50 for kids 6 to 12, and kids five and under are free.
