President Obama pardons Montrose man for drug crimes

     Late this afternoon, President Obama pardoned more than a dozen people.

     Among them, a South Dakota man.

Michael John Petri was serving a 5 year sentence.

     The Montrose man was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of Cocaine.

     The President pardoned 17 people, largely for minor offenses.
