Woman charged with hitting SD State Trooper in court today

The woman accused of hitting and injuring a state trooper during a car chase is set to appear in court today for a pre-trial hearing.

25-year-old Rachel Coleman hit Trooper Andrew Steen back in October with her car after a lengthy early morning chase in October. Coleman is charged for attempted murder in the first degree, aggravated assault against law enforcement officer, vehicular battery, and her fourth DWI, among other charges..
