Sioux Falls man charged with raping 7-year-old girl

A Sioux Falls ma faces charges for the rape of a seven-year-old girl.

Nicholas Bowden, 34, appeared in court Tuesday to face charges of first degree rape of a victim less than 13 years old, sexual contact with a child under the age of 16 and abuse or cruelty to a minor.

The alleged incidents happened last summer.

According to the victim, Bowden told the girl if she didn't tell her parents, he would take her to Chuck E. Cheese's.

A complaint was filed March 1.
