Gann Valley woman faces new charges in son's death

A South Dakota woman accused of beating a child for wetting his pants faces additional charges in the case.

22-year-old Donika Gonzales, of Gann Valley, appeared in court Tuesday on one count of second-degree murder, two alternative counts of first-degree manslaughter, and one count of aggravated assault.

Gonzalez was originally charged with felony child abuse after her arrest last month for the 4 year-old boy's death.
