Central Lyon Girls Named KSFY/Taco John's Athletes of the Week - KSFY News - Sioux Falls, SD News, Weather, Sports

    Our KSFY/Taco John's Athletes of the Week made some school history, and the community of Rock Rapids proud this past week.

   The Central Lyon girls basketball team played in their first ever state tournament in Des Moines.

   The Lions brought home the Class 1A state title and finished the year with a 26-2 record.

   They beat Newell-Fonda 63-61 in the championship.

   For that performance, we salute the Central Lyon girls basketball team as our KSFY/Taco John's Athletes of the Week.
