Video from a deputy's dash cam provides a look at the suspects.
The Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in finding two young men accused in a string of destruction in Garretson.
Two white males, described as being 18-20 years old, are accused of driving through the doors of a car wash, hitting vehicles and hitting mailboxes with a stolen white Cadillac early Monday morning.
Deputies are also connecting the two with a Chevy Suburban that was stolen in Sioux Falls. The Suburban was recovered at Palisades Gas Station in Garretson and it was not damaged.
The incidents were reported after many residents heard squealing tires at approximately 1 am Monday. At 1:16 am, deputies in the area spotted the white Cadillac and tried pulling it over to the side of the road. However, when the deputy tried stopping the vehicle the suspect drove away.
Deputies pursued the suspects but stopped because the chase reached a high rate of speed in Garretson. Deputies found the vehicle later near the corner Depot Avenue and Essex Street but the suspects ran away from the scene.
Captain Niederinghaus, Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office, said it appeared the vehicle hit some railroad tracks at a high rate of speed causing a wheel to fall off the Cadillac.
The vehicle was found disabled at 1:36 am. As of late Monday morning, Niederinghaus said there were 10 hit and run reports in Garretson. Niederinghaus says more reports could surface.
