Sioux Falls police identify suspect in West Mall 7 Theater robbery

Sioux Falls police arrested a man suspected of robbing the West Mall 7 movie theater last week.

Police arrested Craig Nichols Jr. Saturday night. Detectives say a tip from the public helped them arrest the suspect. Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says one person provided a name of who might have committed the robbery at West Mall 7 Theaters last Wednesday night.

Officers and detectives had information as to what type of vehicle the suspect was driving. Nichols' car was spotted near 41st Street and Summit Avenue in Sioux Falls. When officers confirmed the vehicle and its description it was pulled over at 35th Street and Summit Avenue.

Nichols is charged with one count of 2nd Degree Robbery.
