No one was injured with a school bus crashed into a house in West Des Moines Monday morning.
The accident happened at 7:41am Monday in the 500-block of 53rd Street in West Des Moines. According to police, the bus was traveling south when it left the road way, went through several yards, hitting a truck parked in a driveway and then hit a house.
There were eleven elementary aged children on the bus at the time, but no injuries were reported. Police say there was extensive damage to the bus, parked truck and the house.
West Des Moines Police Accident Investigators are currently investigating the accident to determine what caused the bus to leave the roadway.
