Search efforts are underway at Falls Park in Sioux Falls for two people who rescued a child that fell into the water.
Sioux Falls Fire Chief Jim Sideras says a 6-year-old boy fell into the water around 6:00 Thursday evening. Two unidentified man jumped in the Big Sioux River to pull the boy out. They were able to get the boy out, but the adults are missing. The boy is now safe and with his mother.
Sideras says rescue crews are dealing with two issues. First, the foam on the water is making it difficult to see anything. Also, searchers are having a difficult time breaking through the ice on the water.
