On man is dead and two others received minor injuries after a crash west of Bruce, SD, Saturday night.
It happened at 204th Street and 464th Avenue two miles west of Bruce on Saturday, just after 7:00 p.m.
Brookings County authorities say Kenneth M. Bickley, 62, was driving a 2000 GMC Jimmy south on 464th Avenue. He failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection, where his vehicle was struck by a 1999 Ford Sport being driven east on 204th Street by Donald Floyd Krumm, 70, of Bruce.
Bickley, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene.
Krumm and a passenger, Joyce Eileen Krumm, 68, of Bruce, were wearing seatbelts. Donald Krumm was not injured. Joyce Krumm was taken to a Brookings hospital with minor injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. Brookings County Sheriff's Office, Brookings Ambulance, Bruce Fire Department and Estelline Ambulance assisted.
