It is National Wildlife Week. All this week we are checking out some of the wildlife in our area and around the world.
National Wildlife Week is the longest running wildlife education program to educate students about the wonders of nature around them. So the theme this year is "Branching Out" so we thought we would check in with a bird cam.
This morning on the KSFY Morning News, Shawn and Nancy checked out the Scottish Seabird live streaming web cam. This camera is on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Scotland. The Scottish Seabird Centre is one of the world leaders in remote wildlife viewing. The camera is actually being controlled by visitors at the Discovery Centre.
We also are always looking for wildlife in our area. Scott Stryzewski sent us pictures from Chamberlain. He was able to capture a huge flock of birds on the Missouri River.
If you see some wildlife in your area, snap a picture and send it to us and you might just see it on the news. You can e-mail us email@example.com
