Still no cause of a fire that destroyed an abandoned house overnight.
A neighbor reported the fire around 1:45 this morning in the 100 block of Second Street in Baltic.
When crews arrived they said the home was engulfed in flames.
Fire crews from Baltic, Dell Rapids and Minnehaha County Emergency Management were on the scene.
In addition to battling flames, crews also dealt with ice and live power lines that were still running to the home.
The fire chief tells us he plans to talk to neighbors to see if they've seen any activity at the home recently.
We also asked Xcel why power was still on.
