All this week on the KSFY Morning News, we have been talking about animals for National Wildlife Week. This is the longest running wildlife education program in the country.
On Monday, Nancy talked about how her favorite wildlife camera had been taken down. She was a fan of the eagle cam in Norfolk, Virginia. It was disabled after too many of the eagles were getting hit by airplanes. Thankfully, a viewer turned Nancy on to a new live streaming eagle cam.
The Alcoa eagle cam is in Davenport, Iowa. A pair of eagles have been there since 2009, but the camera wasn't set up until 2011. Last year the couple had 3 babies. And this year, two babies just hatched.
