MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) - A South Dakota woman who was found slain in a shed on a farmstead near Chamberlain a week ago has been laid to rest.
About 150 people turned out Wednesday for the funeral of Crystal Schulz, 26, in Mitchell. The Rev. John Hansen said Schulz will be remembered for the difference she made in many people's lives.
Schulz worked at a private residential treatment facility for girls. She was found slain on March 14.
No one has been charged in her death, though a man arrested after walking away from a minimum-security prison in Rapid City has been questioned and the state attorney general's office says additional charges are anticipated.
