Update: Sioux Falls Police arrest driver of car that flipped into Skunk Creek

Sioux Falls police arrested a man connected with a car that landed in Skunk Creek in Sioux Falls.

Walter Jandreau, 29, of Sioux Falls was charged with his 3rd DWI, Hit and Run, Careless Driving and Driving Without a License.

Police say at about 3:00 am Friday Jandreau was driving west on 12th Street when he tried turning north onto South La Mesa Drive. Police say Jandreau missed the corner, took out a stop sign, continued west and drove into Skunk Creek.

The vehicle came to a rest upside down and Jandreau was able to get out and walk away. Sioux Falls Police found Jandreau at his home.
