Irish eyes were not smiling on dachshunds for St. Patty's day. It was too cold for them to walk in the parade, but you can meet a bunch of them Saturday instead at their meet and greet.
But you are getting a sneak peak at Jayden and Max. Jayden is chocolatey brown. She weighs 13 pounds with a short cut. Max is black and tan, is 9 pounds and also has a smooth coat. They are both 8 and have been together their whole lives. They need to be adopted together, which is no problem because dachshunds are like chips, you can't have just one.
They didn't do well with a baby/toddler environment. It stressed them out and that's why their with Dakota Dachshund Rescue. They are kennel trained, leash trained and 90% house trained.
You can meet them in person at Your Pet Stop on East 41st from noon until 2:00 p.m.
