A Yankton man is in jail after an early morning shooting.

Around 2:40am on Friday morning, the Yankton Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 905 E. 15th Street.  22-year-old Curtis Wilson, of Yankton, was involved in a domestic assault. An unidentified female fled her residence and went to the neighbors.  Wilson followed the female and a shot was fired.  The bullet did not hit the neighbors residence or the girlfriend, however the neighbor was taken to Avera Sacred Heart Hospital and treated for minor injuries from flying debris.
