It's an iron hit! "Iron Man 3" is soaring at the box office. The third installment in the franchise starring Robert Downey Junior has already surpassed the $300 million mark at the international box office. And, while those global figures are impressive, the total is expected to skyrocket when "Iron Man 3" opens in the US this weekend.
Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee expressed which Marvel character he would want to be. He says he doesn't care about the super-powers or capes. Lee revealed, if he could be any one of the more than 300 super heroes he created, he would choose Iron Man's alter ego.
"I think I'd want to be Tony Stark because he's the best-looking and the richest," Lee said.
Tom Hanks' number one fan, his wife Rita Wilson, says her Oscar-winning husband is delighted his role in Broadway's "Lucky Guy" is up for a Tony Award. Wilson revealed at the Unforgettable Evening Cancer Benefit in Los Angeles, Hanks is looking forward to Broadway's biggest night.
"So exciting! He was so excited," Wilson said. "Completely thrilled, very surprised. I think he was most happy that everything about the play got nominated."
