Jamison: Zoning changes will likely go to public vote

Posted: Updated:

The Sioux Falls City Council has less than ten days to decide whether to hold a special election on zoning changes.

Council member Greg Jamison told us today the Council will likely discuss the issue at their next meeting.

But he believes the referendum will likely be put on the April 2014 ballot, along with a vote on snow gates and changes at Spellerberg Park.

The vote means Wal-Mart will need to begin a new approval process for a new store on the south side.
