Large bust near Sioux Falls nets drugs, guns, money and vehicles

Two Sioux Falls men were arrested in a large drug bust outside the city Thursday. Several vehicles and guns were also seized in the search.

Officer Jeff Larson, Sioux Falls Police, briefed media Friday on the large drug bust southeast of Sioux Falls. Larson said it was the result of a several-month-long investigation. The warrant was executed on at a home along Highway 11.

The task force seized 119 grams of Molly-- similar to ecstasy-- 9 firearms, 54 grams of hashish, 9.1 pounds of marijuana and 2.7 grams of mushrooms.

Police seized assault rifles and hand guns and $21,000 in money were also seized.

Several vehicles were also seized as a result of the bust: a diesel pickup, Chevy Suburban, jet ski with a trailer, snowmobile, dirt bike, a four wheeler, a motorcycle in an enclosed trailer.

Blayne Solberg, 22, of Sioux Falls was arrested and charged possession with intent to distribute 1 to 10 pounds of marijuana, possession of 1 to 10 pounds of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Solberg is expected to appear in Lincoln County court on Monday.

Joel Robshaw, 22, of Sioux Falls, charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana 1 to 10 pounds, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana 1 to 10 pounds, possession of a controlled substance and keeping a place for use or sale of a controlled substance.

According to the Lincoln County Clerk Courts office, Robshaw posted bond.

Jeff Larson, Sioux Falls Police, said Lincoln County deputies assisted in the execution of the warrant. Larson said he did not have any further information because the investigation is ongoing.

At Friday's briefing, Larson said the drug "Molly" is like ecstasy. Officers told him it considered to be a large amount seized for this area.
