Posted: Updated:

Imagine being in college... and overseeing South Dakota's universities. Well, an SDSU sophomore is doing just that.

Governor Dennis Daugaard has appointed Joe Schartz to the Board of Regents.

He'll serve a two-year term and act as a voting member.

Schartz is majoring in journalism and agriculture--- and minoring in political science.

He also serves as a student association senator at SDSU.
