County offices, Food Pantry were without power in Sioux Falls

KSFY News has learned the Minnehaha County Courthouse, Minnehaha County administration building and the Sioux Falls Food Pantry were without power in the city.
A power outage hit the Sioux Falls area at 9 a.m. Wednesday affecting 2,193 customers. Xcel Energy said crews were working to find the problem and fix it. At approximately 9:30 a.m. Xcel said it expected to have the problem resolved in 1-2 hours.
At approximately 10 a.m. power was restored to the Minnehaha County Administration and a line had already started.
The areas of Sioux Falls affected by the outage include:
A portion of Downtown Sioux Falls is without power, but the larger area of outages is between Benson Road on the north side, 11th Street on the south side, North Covell Avenue on the west side of the road and Weber Street on the east side of the road.
