The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is looking for a burglary suspect who was last seen south of Lennox during the late afternoon hours of July 16.
28-year-old Craig Joseph Lombardi is suspected of attempting to steal a pickup at a rural residence and is also suspected of several other burglaries and thefts in other counties in Southeastern South Dakota.
Lombardi is a white male, 6'0", 170-180 lbs, short brownish blond hair, short facial hair, and blue eyes. He has a tattoo on the back of his neck and on one of his calf. He was last seen wearing either a tan or gray T shirt and dark colored knee length shorts.
Investigators believe Lombardi may be armed with a handgun. He was last seen on foot in the area of Hwy 18 (285th Street) and 467th Street south of Lennox.
Anyone who sees or encounters Lombardi should not approach him and is asked to call 911 or your local law enforcement agency.
