Update: Family members injured in Winner house explosion

Update:

The South Dakota State Fire Marshal is on his way to investigate a house explosion in Winner Friday morning.

Winner Fire Chief Darin Nelson said firefighters were dispatched to 422 W. 1st Street for an explosion at 6:20 a.m.

Nelson said there was a family of five inside the home at the time of the explosion. He said they suffered injuries and were taken to the local hospital, but at the time he could not provide any information on their conditions.

KSFY News is working to gather details on a house explosion in Winner Friday morning.

Shannon Cudmore said he was on his way to work when he saw the top half of a home was gone. He said he heard about the blast when he got to work. Cudmore said the explosion might have happened around 6:30 a.m.

KSFY News has put in a call to the Winner Police Department. No one was available to confirm anything. Stay with KSFY News on air and online for updates.
