After showing the Bruce Honey Days Honey Fudge Sauce on the show this morning, I've had a number of people ask where they can buy some. You can't.
There are only two ways to get your hands on the stuff. Go to Bruce on Saturday and get an ice cream sundae after the parade or make your own.
That's right. They don't sell it, but they happily share the recipe. Here it is:
Honey of a Fudge Sauce
1/2 cup of oleo (margarine) 1/2 cup of cocoa 2 Tbsp. cornstarch 1 cup SD HONEY 1 cup water 1 cup miniature marshmallows 1 tsp. vanilla
Melt butter. Add cornstarch and cocoa. Blend well. Add SD HONEY and water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows. Stir until melted. Stir in vanilla. Serve over ice cream or other desserts. Can be served warm or cold. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
I've also attached a scan of the actual recipe card/ Just click the photo on the right and it'll expand to a readable size.
