Sioux Falls fugitive found shoplifting at Kohl's

There are new details on the man Sioux Falls Police were looking in connection with a hit-and-run and mobile meth lab.

Earlier this week, Jason Oldehoff was wanted in connection with a vehicle that ran into a traffic pole at 18th Street and Bahnson Avenue on Saturday. He was alleged to be the driver and ran away from the scene. Two others were arrested in the accident.

Thursday at 11:30 a.m., Oldehoff was spotted at Kohl's at 3800 S. Louise Avenue. Witnesses say a man and a woman were going through the store concealing items. They went through the checkout paying for some but not all of the items.

When police arrived, Oldehoff ran away but the woman stayed behind. Oldehoff was apprehended in the Empire Mall parking lot.

Oldehoff was arrested for shoplifting, fleeing from police and possession of a controlled substance. He was already facing charges including: Manufacture of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), Possession or distribution of a controlled substance in a drug free school zone, Possession or distribution of a controlled substance hit and run, Careless Driving, Possession of drug paraphernalia.

The woman with Oldehoff, Christina Vincent, was charged with shoplifting and harboring. She was an occupant of the vehicle in Saturday's hit-and-run at 18th Street and Bahnson Ave. and had been arrested on several drug charges that day.
