Greg Jennings has haunted the dreams of Vikings fans and minnesota's secondary for the last seven seasons. But after some coaxing by Vikings management and coaches, Jennings is turning in his Packer's green for Vikings purple.
"Little different...but I like the challenge." says Jennings.
One of those challenges Jennings has to go through is the transition of leaving one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, to a quarterback who well might be lucky just to be in the nfl.
So Greg has set a goal for himself, make those around him better.
"If we come out here and were complacent and we are okay with medocracy and we are complacent that's what you guys are gonna see and thats what the fans are going to see. I'im not about mediocracy at all." says Jennings.
But its not just the quarterbacks Jennings wants to help improve, the seven year vet wants to share his wealth of knowledge with the other wide receivers.
"Man we can be really good, but so can every other wide recieving group in the NFL, every team can be really good every team can be really good." says Jennings.
And while Jennings has only been in a Vikings uniform for less than a month, he can tell this team is going in the right direction, just hear his take on rookie and fellow wide reciever Cordarrell Patterson.
"He has the speed, he has the hands, he has the size that a receiver needs to be successful in this league, and I'm gonna be glad one day to say man I played with Cordell Patterson" says Jennings.
So here's to hoping years from now, Cordarrell Patterson and other Vikings players can say "Man I played with Greg Jennings"
