NORTHVILLE, S.D. (AP) - Adan Sotelo-Preciado, 48, was killed when he fell through the roof of a building under construction in northeast South Dakota. It happened late Tuesday morning at an agriculture business in Northville, about 25 miles south of Aberdeen. Spink County Sheriff Kevin Schurch says five men were on the roof installing insulation and tin on top of it when the man stepped through a spot where there wasn't any metal to support him. Schurch says the man fell at least 20 feet.
The general contractor is from Roscoe. But Schurch says the man killed was subcontracted labor.
Arrangements are being made to transport Sotelo-Precaido back to his family in Mexico.
