Jackrabbits are expecting Huskers' full attention

Posted: Updated:

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - South Dakota State will enter a circus environment when it visits Nebraska on Saturday.

The Cornhuskers are coming off a stunning loss to UCLA and quarterback Taylor Martinez might not play because of an injury. Then there's the matter of 2-year-old audio that surfaced this week with Huskers coach Bo Pelini profanely criticizing fans and reporters.

Jackrabbits coach John Stiegelmeier says he doesn't expect his team to be lulled into a false sense that the Huskers are going to be distracted.

The Jacks came to Lincoln in 2010 and played a sixth-ranked Huskers team to within 17-3. SDSU comes in 3-0 and ranked No. 6 in the Championship Subdivision. Zach Zenner is the division's leading rusher at 180 yards a game.
