Several cited after Sioux Falls police break up underage house party

Posted: Updated:

An out-of-control house party resulted in several citations early Saturday morning, police said.

Officers responded to a noise disturbance at 601 N. Todd Place in the early morning hours Saturday, where they found a large party with minors involved.

When police arrived on scene, several individuals jumped out of a back window and ran, Officer Sam Clemens said.

An officer caught one of the runners, and found Joshua Row, 20, of Baltic, who was charged with possession of a controlled substance, paraphenelia and fleeing police.

Police say Kody Kohn, 19, of Sioux Falls, threw the party, and he was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and underage possession of alcohol.

Several minors were also cited for curfew violations, Clemens said.
