And while some may be dreaming of a white Christmas, those January credit card bills can give you the blues.
KSFY News found where there are plenty of part time jobs available if you need to make some extra cash.
We're just two months away from Christmas. Santa may have his elves but stores here at the Empire Mall, stores could use your help.
And husband and wife Corae and Ryan Bailey said they could use the extra cash.
"My husband and I we have children and we're trying to make every Christmas the best because you never know what can happen in the future. And keep the memories alive that Christmas is the best, one of the best, I should say holidays," Corae Bailey said.
"When you're trying to look for gifts, it kind of helps to have some extra money to help the offset," Ryan Bailey said.
And for anyone looking for part-time work, there are plenty of opportunities to be found at the mall.
Empire Mall marketing director Jennifer Morrison said "this holiday season has been a challenge for hiring because of our low unemployment rate, but a lot of our retailers are still looking to fill holiday positions and even full time positions moving forward."
Taking a part-time job not only helps some people pay for their holiday shopping sprees, but the extra pay can help make ends meet.
"We're taking care of my parents and of course our kids and money gets strapped and having to look for extra cash helps a lot, especially for bills and food.," Corae Bailey said.
So, if you're looking to make some extra cash, stop by the customer service desk at the Empire Mall and check out what jobs are available.
The mall keeps many job listings for its stores at the customer service desk so you can do your job hunt with just one stop.
