Posted: Updated:

MITCHELL -- Authorities in Mitchell say a 19-year-old man who crashed a car into two vehicles, a concrete barrier, a sign and then a house huffed compressed air to get high.

Police Officer Kelly Loudenburg tells The Daily Republic that the suspect had no recollection of the Monday afternoon incident.

No one inside the home was hurt. A damage estimate was not immediately available.

The driver was arrested on several charges including driving under the influence. He was checked at a hospital for head and neck pain and released. A 19-year-old male passenger in the car was checked at the scene by ambulance personnel. One of the drivers of the two vehicles the suspect crashed into was checked at the scene and later went to a hospital on her own.
