Both drivers were cited in an accident involving a Brandon Valley school bus Wednesday, Minnehaha County Sheriff's said.
Around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, the bus missed a yield sign at the intersection of N. 75th St. and 10th Ave., hitting a pickup, the sheriff's department said.
Tyrell Bose, the school bus driver, was cited for failure to yield. Shane Faber, the driver of the truck, was cited for no driving without insurance and with a suspended license.
Brandon Valley Superintendent David Pappone said the district would not dispute that the driver did not yield.
Emergency crews said there 14 passengers on the bus, two adults and 12 children. All of the students were released to their parents, and no one was injured in the crash.
