Feeding South Dakota's Annual Turkey Drive

Posted: Updated:

This November is Feeding South Dakota's 3rd Annual Statewide Turkey Drive. Feeding South Dakota's goal this year is to receive enough donations to provide more than 2,600 turkeys to families across the state.

If you do donate a turkey, Feeding South Dakota asks that it's a 10-pound bird. In addition to turkeys, you can also donate traditional Thanksgiving meal items such as boxes of mashed potatoes, boxed gravy, assortments of canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes or yams, and dessert items like pies. You can also turn in a monetary donation as an individual, a family, or a workplace.

You can turn in your donations to any of the Feeding South Dakota Food Bank sites in Sioux Falls, Pierre, or Rapid City. Donations will also be accepted at the Sioux Falls Food Pantry. Feeding South Dakota will be accepting all donations up until Wednesday, November 27.
